games to download and enjoy!!!

floppy disk my little buckaroo!!! now these are good games that are fun to play!! and hopefully, i won't need to use an excessive amount of exclamation marks to make my point!!!!!! you hear me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? so go download these games and have some fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my little buckaroo!!!!!!!
floppy disk please note that these games are for win95/98 and NT4. i would also think that they will work with windows2000, windowsME, and windowsXP. since i have not even seen a computer with win2000, or winME, or winXP on them; i couldn't tell you one way or the other. you'll just have to try them for yourself.

farmer the game turkey shoot... each game lasts one and a half minutes (90 seconds) you try to shoot down as many flying turkeys as possible. that's it!! [[[did he really just mention "flying turkeys"]]]{{{ok, they're actually grouses...}}} [{but they're still flying grouses, and you still have to shoot them down. so there!}]
farmer you score points [based on how far away the turkey is] and when the game is over, you get your total points scored. the game is simple and short, and it seems to be programmed well.
farmer no installation needed, just double click the executable file to start it. or...just put the files in any folder anywhere on your hard disk, and create a shortcut to the EXE file.
farmer when you double click the shortcut that you created... the space bar starts the game, esc key ends the program, left click fires, right click reloads. to find more turkeys to shoot at, move the mouse pointer to the left or right to rotate your view.
farmer but don't think too long.... you have only 90 seconds... the introduction seems to be in german, and the overall theme is about johnnie walker liquor, but you only know that because a plane flys in the background with a johnnie walker banner. but it's very low key. so... a very cool and enjoyable game!!
farmer this game is actually called Moorhuhn, and it's home on the web is here: Moorhuhn's home the site is in german, and i don't understand german, so I have no idea who wrote it. about the only thing i know is that moorhuhn is freeware and it's alot of fun. so get it and enjoy!
farmer hooeeey!! i want to shoot me some turkeys!!! 1.89MB zipped download
farmer and speaking of bandWIDTH, here are some screenshots from the game!!!!

TSv2 ok folks, moorhuhn2 has been out for quite awhile, and i finally got it up here. the controls have not changed, the object is still the same, you still have only 90 seconds, but the game play has indeed been enhanced.
TSv2 there is more to shoot at, more distractions, and the game does remember the high scores. and if i remember correctly, turkey shoot v2, aka moorhuhn2, does require directX v7 on your computer.
TSv2 also, moorhuhn2 now has a setup/install program.... which is all in german. but not to worry, on the screenshots page, i've got each install window and my translation of what the buttons mean. if nothing else, just hit the enter key on each screen since the default choice assumes you are continuing with the installation.
TSv2 hoooeeeey!!! i want to shoot me some more turkeys! 5.65MB zipped download
TSv2 click here for some bandwidth hogging screenshots and my button translations!!

farmer download the turkey shoot game winter edition : 4.73MB zipped   i'll eventually get screenshots... really i will.
farmer download the turkey shoot game v3 : 4.06MB zipped    and installation is still in german... just accept the defaults [[ ie: hit the "enter" key ]] each time and it will install just fine.

winroids winroids is an excellent game!! it's a clone of the arcade game "asteroids". i must have downloaded a half dozen or so of these clone games, but this is the only one i gave my dad. nice graphics, nice interface, nicely done!!
winroids no installation needed, just double click the executable file to start it. or...just put the files in any folder anywhere on your hard disk, and create a shortcut to the EXE file.
winroids winroids is by Stephen Baxter. the game is actually listed as shareware, but it is completely nag free!! about a year ago, i tried to contact Mr. Baxter, to register the game. i must have spent the better part of the day trying to find him on the internet (the contact information in the help file no longer worked). I had no luck. if nothing else, i just wanted to thank him for writing the game. anyway......
winroids please download the game and enjoy it! it is completely nag free! and if i ever get Mr. Stephen Baxter's information, i will definitely post it. winroids is that good!!

join-em join-em is a very simple game, but it can be quite addictive! if 2 or more squares have the same color and are next to each other just double click on them to remove them. the goal is to empty out the playing field. not as easy as you might think! it is very easy to play and the "same color adjoining squares" is the only rule to learn. hey! i even figured it out!
join-em no installation needed, just double click the executable file to start it. or...just put the files in any folder anywhere on your hard disk, and create a shortcut to the EXE file. join-em is by S.T. Han, and, as far as i can tell, is completely freeware.
join-em download join-em! zipped 247KB!
join-em do you gotta know what the game looks like?? well then, click and see some screenshots!!

spider card game the spider solitaire game from a windowsME installation. everything that i have read about windowsME indicate that this spider solitaire game is the best reason to install windowsME on your computer. also, from what i can tell, this spider card game is a little different than the one included with win98, is the same as the one included with win2000, and is different than the one included with windowsXP.
spider card game so if you have windowsME or windows2000, you're good to go. otherwise get it here. and before i forget... both my mom and my dad love this game! [[i do need to keep to my theme here]]
spider card game no installation needed, just double click the executable file to start it. or...just put the files in any folder anywhere on your hard disk, and create a shortcut to the EXE file. yup, that's it. i rooted through the cab files to find the necessary parts. what a devoted son won't do for their parents.
